The Small Firms Association (SFA) Employment Law Seminar takes place on 3 October, in the Castletroy Hotel, Limerick.
This year’s SFA Employment Law Seminar will discuss the major employment law changes of 2019 including contracts, casual working arrangements and the enhancement of family leave.
At the seminar delegates will hear from experts such as Regional Manager in the Inspection Division of the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC), John M Kelly, on what businesses can expect from a WRC inspection. David O ‘Riordan, Partner at Sherwin O'Riordan Solicitors will detail the latest case law examples on work related stress which is a growing issue in the workplace.
The seminar also examines recent developments in the areas of family leave and employment contracts as well as using cases studies to explore discipline and dismissals and bullying and harassment.
Commenting on the SFA Employment Law Seminar, Limerick, SFA Director, Sven Spollen-Behrens said: “2019 has brought rapid changes in the employment law landscape. These can prove daunting for small businesses who are time poor and often the most impacted, as they may not have a dedicated HR department. The SFA Employment Law seminar addresses that gap by offering best in class speakers, case studies and practical advice to help Limerick employers ensure their workplaces remain compliant with employment law legislation.
Sven Spollen-Behrens continued “We are excited to bring the SFA Employment Law Seminar to Limerick this year. I encourage Limerick’s small businesses to attend this year’s SFA Employment Law Conference at the Castletroy Hotel, to get a unique insight into the latest developments in employment law from an employer’s perspective.”
