Ireland doing business in Africa

The potential business opportunities in Africa for Irish companies are widely acknowledged; however, knowing where to begin can be a challenge.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, as part of its Africa Strategy, is hosting a breakfast seminar ‘Ireland doing business in Africa’. A number of successful Irish business people based in Africa, and visiting Dublin for the Global Irish Economic Forum, will speak of the opportunities they found in Africa and their experiences in the food, life sciences and extractive industry sectors there. The event will be opened by Mr Seán Sherlock TD, Minister of State for Development, Trade Promotion and North-South Cooperation.

The seminar will be held on Friday, 20 November with registration at 07:30am and the event closing at 09:15am in Iveagh House, 80 St. Stephens Green, Dublin 2.
