What is flexible working?
Flexible working is a work arrangement that gives an employee flexibility on how long, where and when they work in line with the needs of the business. It may include flexibility in the working day or week such as part time, flexitime or compressed hours or it may include flexibility in the location of work. This can include working from home, in a co-working space or a hybrid model of part office and part remote working.
This flexible working policy recognises that an improved work-life balance can enhance employee motivation, performance and productivity. The company wants to supports its employees to achieve a better balance between work and personal commitments and will make every reasonable effort to accommodate flexible working requests, taking into account the needs of the business as well as individual.
