Checklist for working remotel

The SFA have produced this checklist to help you balance your obligations as an employer with the introduction of Smart Working, that is offering remote working options for your employees. The checklist is not exhaustive and will be reviewed and updated in line with new changes. It factors in the following key areas for consideration before implementing Smart Working:
  • Data Protection obligations
  • Health and Safety requirements including bullying
  • Equality issues to include reasonable accommodation and harassment
  • Obligations under the Organisation of Working Time Act
  • Updating contracts, policies and company handbooks
