The Credit Review Office

The Credit Review Office was set up in 2010 during the banking crisis, to ensure the flow of credit to viable SME’s and Farmers. The Office provides an independent review of individual credit refusals when requested by borrowers, has a helpline (lo-call 1850211789) to provide information to SME’s, and monitors the level of credit sanctioned by the main Irish banks. It reports regularly to the Minister for Finance on the SME credit market. Reports and more information are available at www.creditreview.ie.
