SFA Skillnet Storytelling for Executives, 28 November 2019
We in Ireland have a natural gift for storytelling, as a nation we write and publish more short stories than any other country. However, this gift does not always come through when we deliver business presentations or when addressing teams in a business environment.
The ability to be able to uses stories, analogies, metaphors in a conversational way is what sets the great leaders apart from the mundane followers. This one-day programme will help you connect not only with groups but also in pressure situations, in small teams and one-one meetings.
If you wish to stand out from the crowd this is the workshop for you!
- Deliver believable presentations with energy and enthusiasm
- Know the answer to the three questions that all great speakers should understand
- Learn how to be remembered long after you have left the room
- Reduce the amount of time and energy required to prepare a presentation
- Reduce your dependency on Boring Slide Presentations
- Learn how to conduct a Q & A session, often the most important part of any engagement
This workshop is designed to be a hand’s on experience, where the participants not only get the theory but also get the opportunity on several occasions to present their ideas to the group.
The coaching, which is available throughout the workshop, is always positive and encouraging, working to build on your strengths and helping you to achieve your objectives:
“I used to struggle to connect with my audience because there would be such a disconnect between what I was saying and why. You have shown me that opening with an honest story instantly breaks down that barrier, builds trust and allows the audience to buy into what I’m saying”.
