SFA Skillnet Financial Planning for Growth, June 11, 2019
The aim of this one-day programme is to help business owners, managers and employees develop financial plans to support their organisation’s business plan and enable the business to grow. The course is aimed at participants with a non-financial background and is very practical. To get the most out of the workshop, participants can bring their business financial statements to the workshop and use these for the workshop exercises. If it is not possible to bring along financial statements, a sample case study will be provided.

The key elements of a financial plan, cash flow planning, profit and loss and balance sheet
The process to pull together each element of the financial plan
The process for monitoring performance, taking action and adjusting plan to maximise performance

Identification of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for the business
Completion of the financial plan
Establish process for monitoring financial performance
Tony Dignam is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA). He is an experienced Finance Director and Managing Director with 30 years’ experience in a variety of sectors including hospitality, IT, sport, logistics and FMCG. He has also run a number of his own businesses and has worked with business owners helping them develop and grow their business. He is currently MD of The Agile Executive who provide experienced Finance Directors to SMEs on a part time basis.
